The Enfield No. 2 is a close derivative, possibly an unlicenced copy, of the Webley Mk IV revolver. Both have a similar design, performance and firepower.
In UK military service the Mark IV revolver was replaced by the Hi-Power pistol, known as the L9 in UK service, from 1954 onward.
