The Uzi Pro is a modernized version of the Micro Uzi. It is a blowback operated weapon that fires from the closed bolt position. The Micro Uzi design has been improved by the ability to mount various accessories, such as a reddot sight. The rate of fire is lower due to the use of a heavier bolt. The lower receiver is made of polymer for weight reduction. Instead of the metal strut a more ergonomic side folding stock is fitted. The Uzi Pro is offered in three barrel lengths.
The Uzi Pro fires the 9x19mm Parabellum round from a 20 round detachable box magazine. 25 and 32 round magazines can be used as well. The Uzi Pro is a select fire weapon with a cyclic rate of fire of 1.000 to 1.150 rpm. Due to the slightly lower rate of fire, the increased weight, ability to mount a forward grip and improved shoulder stock the Uzi Pro is more controllable in automatic fire than the earlier Micro Uzi.
